Requirements
- Ability to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including grinds
- Knowledge of meat cutting standards and company packaging standards
- Ability to assist in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli, rotisserie chicken area, and full service deli
- Capability to prepare special meat arrangements and cuts for Members
- Commitment to maintaining all sanitation and safety standards in the meat department
- Understanding of club policies, procedures, and compliance
- Ability to carry out job functions with honesty, integrity, speed, agility, and a focus on member needs
- Teamwork skills to support GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate), club standards, and department performance reporting
Responsibilities
- Engage and assist Members by making recommendations and answering questions on meat, poultry, and seafood
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by Members
- Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company cutting standards
- Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards
- Showcase all currently available products in the meat case and maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Assist in merchandising of seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli, rotisserie chicken area, and full service deli
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards within the meat department
- Support flawless execution, accountability, inclusion, diversity, and delivery of GOLD club standards daily
