Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in material or production planning, preferably in a high-tech or chemical manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Oracle Cloud (Fusion) or equivalent ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) and lean material planning principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret production forecasts and translate them into material plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • (Preferred) Experience in chemical or semiconductor materials planning
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with EHS requirements for chemical storage

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage material requirements for chemicals, manufacturing supplies, and monitor wafers in support of production schedules
  • Review production volumes and forecasts to adjust material plans and ensure continuous supply to operations
  • Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) planning strategies to minimize on site inventory and comply with chemical storage limitations
  • Monitor and coordinate material deliveries to align with the quarterly production and financial plan
  • Work closely with Process Engineering to identify and investigate usage spikes, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions in Oracle Cloud and ensure timely follow-up on supplier commitments and deliveries
  • Optimize planning parameters (min/max levels, safety stock, reorder points) to balance cost, space, and supply reliability
  • Collaborate with Procurement to address pricing, sourcing, and supplier performance issues
  • Analyze material consumption data to identify trends, optimize planning accuracy, and support cost control initiatives
  • Support internal audits, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement activities related to material control and planning processes
