High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
Some experience in logistics with a life science company preferred
Proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies, procedures, instructions, and meet schedules
Proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks and competence in using the equipment at different elevations
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (working conditions specify continuous lifting up to 25 lbs., routine push/pull up to 25 lbs., regular climbing, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.)
Ability to walk, stand, reach on a continuous basis; routinely push/pull, climb; occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl
Must be available to work any shift (with advance notice), flexible with varying schedules, hours, and overtime
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels, repetitive tasks, and varying degrees of stress

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements, ensuring high quality and timely delivery
Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying the quality, type, and quantity of materials received, and ensuring appropriate documentation (e.g., packing list) is present
Safely operate distribution equipment as required
Complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements and operate within all ISO standards related to site Distribution, including Control of Documents and Quality Policy
Follow required Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) practices and complete related training
Respond to customer service and other external department inquiries regarding order requirements and/or fulfillment issues
Operate RF Scanner for transactions
