Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months minimum experience in shipping and receiving required
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization and vendors
  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 7 hours a day and/or sit for up to 5 hours a day; use hands to handle or feel objects to pack shipments and use keyboard for entering orders
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Tolerance for fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold)
  • Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
  • Standing for full shift
  • Exposure to cold temperatures while checking and stocking products in the Cold Room/Refrigerator

Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments
  • Accurately detail and maintain inventory levels
  • Ensure flawless organization and storage of materials in the warehouse
  • Prepare materials for shipment, adhering strictly to safety and quality standards
  • Operate material handling equipment efficiently and safely
  • Working knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipping applications
  • Collaborate with team members to determine and successfully implement process improvements
