  • Ability to undergo extensive in-house training via computer-based and hands-on methods
  • Capability to physically move parts, track turbine engine components, and handle staging/organizing tasks
  • Proficiency in using electronic tracking systems (RFID technology)
  • Team collaboration with production, engineering, and production control personnel

Responsibilities

  • Track parts (turbine engine components) through repair processes
  • Stage parts in departments and organize part storage areas
  • Monitor completion times to increase throughput
  • Pick up and deliver parts to other buildings
  • Assist shipping/receiving department with delivery of parts to couriers
  • Work as a team member with production, engineering, and production control to maintain scheduling continuity by reviewing inventory, work scope, and component locations
  • Physically move parts to maintain progression between departments
  • Use electronic tracking system for part identification and location (RFID)
  • Provide skids, carts, or racks to departments based on need and workload
  • Organize staging areas daily and verify part number, serial number, and internal tracking numbers match
