Requirements

3 months of work history with the same employer
Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP computer functions as required
Ability and willingness to obtain tow motor certification
Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level with 20 pounds or greater
Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry over 20 pounds or greater with back and legs
Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously
Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently
Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
Ability and willingness to distinguish between basic shades and colors
Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees

Responsibilities

Pull buckets and empty into hopper
Move up to 900 pounds of product on racks
Move full racks of sausage, then scale and enter into the computer
Empty inedible pans and inedible barrels
Assemble and disassemble all stuffers and other related machines; linkers setup and removal
Clean out metal detectors of fat
Properly prepare casings and use correct casings for products running
Keep accurate daily preparation numbers on data sheets
Take daily inventory
Test all casings used by the Batch Kitchen within 24 hours of delivery
Make all rack tags
Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
Learn and follow all safety procedures
Maintain general manufacturing practices
Perform all positions of job rotation, including the use of a tow motor as needed
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
Perform any other work as assigned by management
