Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Analytics implementation
  • B.S. degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., economics, mathematics, business, finance, social sciences, computer science, or information management); M.S. degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience leading others in delivering Marketing Science projects across a broad range of initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas: tracking and measurement, implementation, reporting, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, or statistical modeling
  • Experience optimizing digital marketing efforts using data-driven insights
  • Experience with visualization platforms (Tableau preferred)
  • Working knowledge of SQL (including PostgreSQL) and Python
  • Understanding of how to work with APIs and database components (e.g., schemas, tables, stored procedures, triggers)
  • Understanding of data and pipeline management and SDLC best practices (e.g., ETL/ELT, building/understanding DAGs, CI/CD, version-control)
  • Understanding of basic data visualization methods and shaping data to tell a clear story
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and techniques in data analytics quickly
  • Strong documentation skills (thorough, clear, intuitive)
  • Ability to proactively communicate needs, roadblocks, statuses to team, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Strong critical thinking skills, willingness to ask questions and understand the "why" behind processes
  • Familiarity with media campaign tracking (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Automate manual processes using SQL, Python, etc
  • Define solutions for using, extracting, and transforming data based on business needs for knowledge and decision-making
  • Analyze documentation and propose data extraction solutions
  • Write code that uses APIs to move data through pipelines and processes
  • Continuously improve the efficiency of existing automations and maintain concise, accurate datasets and processes
  • Understand the nuances of analyses relied upon by cross-functional teams
  • Explain complexities of data extraction and transformation to cross-functional team members
  • Work closely with Marketing Science and account teams to understand business context and logic
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry news and techniques
  • Assist in guiding data architecture and infrastructure design
