Requirements

L3 Engineering Apprenticeship Standard, or Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship Framework + L3 Knowledge-Based Qualification (e.g. Diploma) + L3 Competency-Based Qualification (e.g. NVQ)
ISO 9001 Internal / Lead Auditor Qualification
Desirable - A good knowledge of EN 9001:2015 requirements and the key principles of a QMS
A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and certification requirements
Proven attention to detail, with a commitment to following procedures and identifying gaps or inconsistencies
The ability to conduct fair, objective, and consistent audits
Strong recordkeeping and documentation skills
Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments
A proactive mindset with a drive to uphold and improve quality and compliance standards
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship (Security Clearance requirement)
Ability to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

Conduct annual audits across all Certification Stamp Holders (currently circa 700), verifying that the required processes are being followed
Maintain thorough and accurate audit records, supporting both internal reviews and external compliance requirements
