Starting pay is $23.40/hour (plus shift differential if applicable), progressing to $26.74 in Year 2, $28.41 in Year 3, and $33.43 in Year 4. With overtime, first-year earnings can exceed $70K, and up to $85K+ per year.
Positions are afternoons and evenings with shifts that can alternate weekly; assigned shift attendance and weekend work is required. Employees must be able to work 8-hour shifts with a maximum of 16 hours required.
A high-school degree or equivalent is required (Associate degree preferred), plus 3+ years related manufacturing experience or equivalent technical/vocational experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team, and use of computers and PLCs in manufacturing are preferred.
The role involves working as part of a team in a high-speed manufacturing facility producing Milk-Bone products, operating equipment in processing and packaging areas, with cross-training throughout. It requires following safety rules and GMPs in environments that can be cold, hot, and exposed to flour and yeast.
Candidates with 3+ years of manufacturing experience, an Associate degree, team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and familiarity with computers/PLCs in industrial settings will stand out. Physical ability to stand 70% of the time, lift 50 pounds, and work in varying environments is essential.
