Clear criteria of conforming/non-conforming product and on-line/reliability test methods for verifying conformance

Responsibilities

Provide daily support to manufacturing activities to meet goals for safety, quality, cost, and production
Maintain systems that support monitoring of key performance indicators (e.g., yield, nonconforming material, lead time); plan and implement changes for adverse trends
Work with line support team (QC Supervisor, Mfg Supervisor, Quality Engineer, Operations) to perform line situation triage, determine non-conformance, initial bracketing/containment, and support ER generation if needed
Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Assure production lines output meets product specifications
Maintain manufacturing documentation (e.g., process instructions, lot history records, bill of materials)
Investigate, conduct tests/experiments, gather data, perform preliminary analysis, report findings, and prepare/communicate recommendations and action plans
Lead root cause analysis efforts
Integrate with manufacturing line team (line supervisor, Quality Engineer, operators) to address opportunities; accountable for quality, safety, product output, and yield
Serve as sustaining engineer for the department as needed
