Requirements

Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
Available for on-site work at the manufacturing facility in St Joseph, MO (Summer 2026, up to 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

Shadow commissioning and startup activities to understand the relationship between design, build, and operation
Update project tracking logs (RFIs, submittals, action items) under direction of the Project Engineer
Assist in field verification and as-built drawing updates for active construction zones
Conduct basic time studies or process flow observations to support layout or throughput analysis
Perform equipment tagging, nameplate data collection, and verification against the P&ID or single-line diagrams
Support material tracking, receiving, and documentation within Fieldwire or SharePoint
Help prepare meeting minutes, photo documentation, and punch list items for construction reviews
