Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (emphasis in Supply Chain Management highly preferred)
Experience in purchasing/buying or other areas of supply chain preferred
APICS or Project Management certifications preferred
Advanced Excel skills and PowerBI experience a plus
Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

Purchase materials, components, and/or equipment at the lowest cost consistent with quality and urgency of need to support planned production
Coordinate activities with manufacturing unit to maintain inventory at planned levels
Maintain system data to support MRP (e.g., safety stock levels, MOQ, ROP)
Support production to provide excellent customer service (80% tactical responsibilities, 20% strategic projects)
Manage purchase orders
Perform supplier management and negotiation
Handle expediting and managing MRP messages
Determine part disposition
Control document revisions
Lead inventory control/reduction initiatives
Provide new product introduction support
Assist implementation of new programs and processes
Participate on supplier audits and supplier visits
