Requirements

5 years related work experience within security, safety, or risk management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role in a security facing role
Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development within the security sector
Preferred: Experience delivering security programs within a corporate environment (alternatively, experience within a security organization, law enforcement, military, intelligence, public service or risk management environment)
Preferred: Experience overseeing access control and CCTV systems and related processes in a distributed campus environment
Preferred: Security vendor management including contract negotiation, KPIs and quarterly review
Preferred: Investigative experience, for example leading and conducting criminal investigations, investigative interviewing, evidence gathering, case building
Preferred: Experience developing and delivering training and awareness

Responsibilities

Under both directed and self-initiated actions, manage and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of security programs, procedures, systems and technology, to ensure the overall security and safety of Western Digital personnel, visitors, facilities, data and assets
Effectively collaborate, communicate and engage with multiple global security partners and stakeholders, developing strong working relationships to ensure superior operational outcomes and security service delivery
Manage the vendor security relationship and support the on-site vendor security team and the in-house security team in the delivery of site security responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the delivery of physical security and CapEx projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and ensure alignment to specified strategic objectives, timelines and budget constraints
Support multiple internal and external audits and compliance processes
Proactively identify security good practice, gaps, vulnerabilities and look to drive improvement across all areas of global and local security delivery, related capital projects, supported events and requests from other business units
