Responsibilities

  • Hire, coach, and develop a world-class sales team focused on end-to-end sales execution and revenue growth for SME prospects in ANZ region
  • Own sales performance management, ensuring the team meets key sales metrics (pipeline contribution, conversion rates, closed-won deals, and revenue targets)
  • Own and optimize the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, discovery, solutioning, deal closure, contract negotiation, onboarding, and activation for inbound and outbound prospects
  • Develop best-in-class processes to drive high conversion rates and accelerate deal closure
  • Enable the team to negotiate, close, and onboard SME clients efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Establish structured communication channels and collaboration frameworks between the Global Sales Team (Bangalore) and regional sales teams
  • Develop and refine sales playbooks, negotiation frameworks, and closing strategies tailored to the ANZ market
  • Provide structured training on contract negotiation and deal closure tactics
  • Implement quality control measures, including sales call reviews, deal win-loss analysis, and structured feedback loops
  • Drive international sales success and global alignment, ensuring real-time support for Airwallex’s global markets and strategic partnership with regional teams
