Requirements
- Passionate and driven individual with deep care for students, educators, and school systems supporting youth
- Experience building operational excellence with empathy and ethical leadership
- Ability to make thoughtful decisions balancing emotional, operational, and legal perspectives, especially in sensitive or high-stakes student safety situations
- Strong, self-led leader with experience managing teams, particularly in school or youth-focused environments emphasizing social-emotional well-being
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners within Customer Support to drive key performance indicators
- Availability to serve as an escalation point outside normal business hours, including during on-call periods for a 24/7 team
Responsibilities
- Hire, recruit, and lead a high-performing team of about 20 Safety Support Specialists monitoring, evaluating, and responding to alerts from the GoGuardian Beacon product 24/7
- Ensure highly auditable support processes and operations enabling success of each team member and the team overall
- Build scalable solutions and process-driven approaches that do not rely on Standards of Practice, supporting the team and cross-functional partners
- Manage and evaluate performance of each team member against key performance indicators, accelerating toward individual and company goals
- Monitor, evaluate, and understand digital products supporting the team and Beacon product to identify opportunities for improvement and higher impact
- Drive a spirit of continuous improvement to increase productivity and build better scalable systems
