Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration, with expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date
  • Preferred: AWS certification
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience with data analytics and data modeling
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience with cloud and technology services
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience with technical optimization, architecture, and data design

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day efforts for a patented custom workflow application that empowers users to provide assurance and oversight for the Board of Directors and Regulatory Community
  • Manage the day-to-day priorities and execution for a team of 7+ Engineers
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by building relationships with Business partners, plus Risk Product, Technology and Design partners
  • Partner with the business stakeholder to gather new requirements and with technology team to deliver new features to support business needs
  • Deeply understand the analytical needs of Credit Review and partner with them to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes
  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design
  • Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams
  • Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments
  • Conduct training to our business customers regarding the new features of our products
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Capital One Product Framework: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, Transformational Leadership
