5+ years of relevant Software Engineering experience
2+ years of direct leadership experience (including mentorship, career development, and performance management)
2+ years of program or project management experience

Responsibilities

Lead the Neutron Software team and serve as the technical point of contact for all software development and deployment activities, including vehicle Flight Software, Tooling, and indirect management of terrestrial software and ground systems software sub-teams
Collaborate closely with the GNC and HITL teams
Provide oversight and guidance of team members’ individual projects
Provide clear feedback during design and review
Drive proactive career development of staff
Foster a high-performance culture based on ownership, empowerment, and individual accountability
Manage challenging milestones, including prioritizing business needs, resources, and risks
