  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, investment accounting principles, and internal controls

  • Familiarity with alternative investments and partnership structures is a plus
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, InvestOne, Workiva, Power BI, Tableau)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements for investment accounting initiatives
  • Analyze investment data and operational processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications for technology teams and external vendors (e.g., Clearwater Analytics)
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation, data flow diagrams, and reporting requirements
  • Support the implementation of new investment accounting platforms by coordinating testing, validation, and user acceptance activities
  • Partner with accounting and technology teams to design and implement scalable, compliant, and efficient investment processes and controls
  • Provide analytical support for investment-related inquiries and strategic decision-making
  • Mentor and coach team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
