Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a large-scale accounting organization. Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite is required, as well as in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and accounting standards. Strong skills in GL reconciliations, month-end closing processes, and payroll/AP disbursement activities are essential.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Accounting Operations will be responsible for managing service delivery for accounting and reporting processes, including US GAAP, GL reconciliations, and month-end closing, providing oversight to regional payroll and AP disbursement activities, and managing a team of managers and individual contributors. They will also provide accounting guidance to the team, ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, measure process performance with KPIs, continuously improve productivity, and manage processes to provide sustainable service quality while maintaining confidentiality and acting as a role model for ethical behavior.
