Responsibilities

  • Lead aircraft and ground vehicle integration of custom electronics, sensors, actuators, payloads, and other flight critical sub-systems
  • Demonstrate cross-functional ownership engaging with all X-BAT teams, including manufacturing, operators, supplier development engineering, supply chain, mechanical, thermal, etc
  • Contribute to aircraft and ground vehicle architecture design
  • Drive design and execution of flight critical custom avionics
  • Build, lead, and mentor a world-class avionics engineering team
  • Establish and enforce appropriate design processes
  • Maintain technical excellence—implement rigorous design processes and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
