Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, machine learning engineers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products
- Leverage technologies like Pytorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, LangChain, Lightning, VectorDBs to analyze huge volumes of numeric and textual data
- Be the expert in NLP to harness, adapt, and finetune LLMs for customer-facing applications and features
- Build ML and NLP models through all phases: design, training, evaluation, validation; partner with engineering to operationalize in scalable production systems
- Translate complexity of work into tangible business goals using interpersonal skills
- Create high-quality data for training and testing GenAI models; ensure quality, content, and impact
- Build capabilities for evaluating and monitoring generative models (state-of-the-art, easy to use, trusted)
- Build horizontal capabilities like search, summarization, RAG, and agentic workflows for production applications
