Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with DCP leaders and category teams to formulate and implement retail channel strategies for third-party commercialization business in Japan
  • Negotiate with major retailers in Japan (including EC retailers) to create sales promotion space for licensee products
  • Collaborate with major retailers to develop new business opportunities such as Direct-to-Retail (DTR) and new business models including PB product development
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote marketing and promotional activities to maximize business opportunities for licensee products
  • Actively support licensees' marketing activities and collaborate with category and marketing teams to enhance Disney guest engagement across channels and industries
  • Formulate and implement Joint Business Plans (JBP) with major Japanese retailers to build Win-Win strategies leveraging Disney brands and properties
  • Build trusted relationships with major retailers to obtain timely information on business plans and sales forecasts
  • Collaborate closely with product design team and APAC creative team to propose retail creatives
  • Set clear and challenging strategies and goals to motivate the team
  • Lead the team and DCP overall toward goal achievement
  • Evaluate team members' performance and provide effective coaching to develop future leaders
