Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounts payable operations, including team management, process optimization, and compliance
  • Manage and mentor a team of AP specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving payment issues, and negotiating payment terms
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting regulations related to accounts payable
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights into AP metrics and trends
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to accounts payable
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the accounts payable system, ensuring data integrity and efficiency
  • Manage ad hoc projects related to accounts payable, such as system implementations or process improvements
