Requirements

Subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
Ability to research, interpret, and implement complex accounting standards and policies
Technical expertise in GAAP analysis of complex transactions (e.g., equity, complex debt agreements, leasing, revenue recognition, business combinations)
Experience with detailed revenue analysis and revenue recognition
Knowledge of equity accounting, including stock compensation (FAS 123R), warrant accounting, and EPS
Familiarity with drafting or reviewing complex financial statements with disclosures and SEC reporting (e.g., S-1, 10K, 10Q, other filings)
Understanding of complex FASB and SEC rules and regulations
Experience with global accounting activities, including IFRS, foreign currency, and consolidations
Ability to identify, analyze, and conclude on generally accepted accounting principles
Capability to supervise, coach, and mentor staff at all levels, conduct performance reviews, and contribute to training

Responsibilities

Assist the global firm in client-related tasks through GAAP analysis of complex transactions
Manage large complex projects through review and completion
Collaborate with engagement teams and own projects independently
Strengthen client relationships and generate additional engagement opportunities through quality, timely execution, and strategic service delivery
Assist public and private clients with detailed revenue analysis, revenue recognition, equity (stock compensation, warrant accounting, EPS), complex financial statements, SEC reporting, technical accounting guidance, and global accounting activities
Help clients navigate complex audit requirements
Understand client deadlines, deliverables, requests, and preferences to deliver excellent services
Identify, analyze, and conclude on accounting principles for clients and consult with technical accounting practice leader
Ensure work is delivered timely and in accordance with firm standards
Supervise, coach, and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews; contribute to performance feedback and training; develop and communicate workplace culture and code of conduct
Interact closely with clients and auditors
