Responsibilities
- Respond to tenant/building work orders within 24 hours
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units
- Repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures
- Repair plumbing, carpentry, and locks
- Complete preventive maintenance work (e.g., appliance filters, drain lines)
- Assist with preparing vacant apartment units for rental
- Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule
- Examine and diagnose problems with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
- Work with the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, and/or Maintenance Supervisor
- Coordinate repair and/or maintenance of doors, appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, ceilings, and plumbing fixtures
- Perform minor wall repairs (drywall, mud, tape, and paint)
