Requirements

  • Experience working in a maintenance, mechanical, or electrical position (preferably in a heavy industrial environment)
  • Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge and application of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks
  • Analyze and effect improvements on facilities based on observations made during preventive maintenance
  • Participate in regularly scheduled maintenance stops
  • Carry out corrective maintenance: analyze the malfunction, propose and implement the best solution, inform supervisor and/or production about equipment availability, and record the incident in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Help maintenance agents and external companies as necessary with on-site interventions, in agreement with supervisor
  • Find technical information and contact external suppliers directly
  • Participate in smooth functioning of the spare parts storeroom
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes
  • Complete preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
