Ability to read and write
Work overtime as required, in emergency situations or when prior notification is given by management
Physical Demands: Occasional lifting (0-33%), frequent bending/reaching/stooping (34-66%), frequent walking/standing/climbing (34-66%)
Ability to work in warehouse and outside environments, including seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, conveyors, and snow removal
General maintenance and custodial experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform all tasks in accordance with OSHA and Facility safety guidelines
Clean all areas susceptible to rodent/insect infestation and report rodent/insect activity to the General Maintenance
Provide custodial floor care such as sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and polishing tile floors, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpeted areas
Provide general janitorial maintenance and facility upkeep (dusting, cleaning, floor care, trash removal, polishing, painting, etc.) of all common areas
Perform office and conference room maintenance (dusting, floor care, trash removal, polishing, etc.)
Document and report furniture/fixtures damaged or missing to the Facility Services Manager
Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted for accurate updating
Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management
Operate Motorized Floor Sweeper/Scrubber
Operate receiving equipment to move pallets of merchandise to various storage locations
Read put away labels to determine storage location of merchandise and verify item is correct
Transport merchandise from staging area to storage area, using equipment or hand truck
Accurately count the number of cartons/pallets of each item received
Accurately complete appropriate purchase order/worksheet for each item received
Assist driver in unloading merchandise, using power equipment or hand truck
Total all quantities and complete general information (vendor name, freight bill number, etc.) on purchase order/worksheet after all items have been received
Sign driver's freight bill noting overages, shortages, refusals, and damages
Unload merchandise using power equipment or hand truck, sorting, segregating, and stocking merchandise on pallets with or without assistance
Inventory and arrange all furniture and fixtures in conference rooms
Greet vendors/contractors at Lobby and escort to Facility Services shop or location where services are to be performed
Cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management
Operate Disinfecting/Sanitizing Equipment throughout facility
Operate battery changing equipment
