Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Active New Jersey Qualified Journeyman Electrician License in good standing
  • Strong understanding and compliance to Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Confined Space Entry, work at height, and Electrical Safety programs
  • Familiar with OSHA, National Electrical Code, and local codes
  • Able to wear all required safety equipment (e.g., safety glasses, hard hat, safety shoes, ARC Flash gear, safety gloves)
  • Able to read and follow electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
  • Five years of experience working with tools to install, troubleshoot, repair, and alter lighting, power, heating, and manufacturing-related equipment
  • Able to install and troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFD)
  • Knowledgeable in Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Able to install and troubleshoot servo motors
  • 1st shift position but must be available for after-hour emergency call-ins including weekends and holidays
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs, and work on a ladder safely using PPE

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently to support production operations
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
  • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards
