High School diploma or GED
Active New Jersey Qualified Journeyman Electrician License in good standing
Strong understanding and compliance to Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Confined Space Entry, work at height, and Electrical Safety programs
Familiar with OSHA, National Electrical Code, and local codes
Able to wear all required safety equipment (e.g., safety glasses, hard hat, safety shoes, ARC Flash gear, safety gloves)
Able to read and follow electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
Five years of experience working with tools to install, troubleshoot, repair, and alter lighting, power, heating, and manufacturing-related equipment
Able to install and troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFD)
Knowledgeable in Allen Bradley PLCs
Able to install and troubleshoot servo motors
1st shift position but must be available for after-hour emergency call-ins including weekends and holidays
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs, and work on a ladder safely using PPE

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently to support production operations
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards
