Requirements

  • Must have three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last 12 months and/or participating in relevant training/schooling in the last 12 months
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
  • Strong physical ability: lift, push, or pull up to 70 pounds periodically, bend, and stand for 100% of production hours
  • Must be able to work around breader dust and in temperatures of 50 degrees F or less
  • Must be able to handle responsibility and have good communication skills
  • Must work at a moderately fast rate and be neat with work

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through the production process and proper ingredients/supplies are used
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed (palletizer machine, wrapper machine, case taper, case coder)
  • Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust equipment as needed
  • Ensure case coder is working properly and applying the correct code
  • Manifest pallets both manually and electronically, complete pallet locator sheets and production log
  • Perform housekeeping in the area
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by Lead or Management
