Requirements

Must have three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last 12 months and/or participating in relevant training/schooling in the last 12 months
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
Strong physical ability: lift, push, or pull up to 70 pounds periodically, bend, and stand for 100% of production hours
Must be able to work around breader dust and in temperatures of 50 degrees F or less
Must be able to handle responsibility and have good communication skills
Must work at a moderately fast rate and be neat with work

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through the production process and proper ingredients/supplies are used
Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed (palletizer machine, wrapper machine, case taper, case coder)
Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance
Set up, monitor, and adjust equipment as needed
Ensure case coder is working properly and applying the correct code
Manifest pallets both manually and electronically, complete pallet locator sheets and production log
Perform housekeeping in the area
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned by Lead or Management
