Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval systems, and large-scale text processing, including designing, shipping, and maintaining production systems. Strong programming skills in Python, familiarity with data processing tools, and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Transformers, and HuggingFace are required, as well as experience working with vector databases like PGVector, OpenSearch, or Pinecone and understanding of similarity search techniques.

Responsibilities

The Machine Learning Engineer will design and implement end-to-end RAG pipelines, build and optimize retrieval systems over large datasets using advanced embedding techniques, develop LLM-based solutions for orchestrating retrieval and generation, investigate and solve challenges in vector search and indexing, collaborate with Product and Design teams to build ML solutions, and work with ML Operations to create automated solutions for managing the ML systems lifecycle. They will also contribute to enhancing user experiences and meeting business objectives, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
