  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Screenwriting, Creative Writing, or Media Studies
  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship (with limit of one consecutive year in programs)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Unrestricted work authorization
  • Consistent, reliable full-time work schedule throughout the internship (June 1st–August 28th, 2026)
  • Provide own housing in the Burbank, CA area
  • Reliable transportation to/from work in Burbank, CA
  • Full-time, in-person availability in Burbank, CA

Responsibilities

  • Reading and evaluating incoming writing samples, scripts, cuts, and other project materials
  • Learning to write coverage for both writer and director materials
  • Participating in project research to support development initiatives
  • Collaborating with the team in organizing incoming external materials
  • Assisting with light organizational work to ensure the logging of materials is consistent across the entire live action slate
  • Facilitating daily operations, such as setting up conference rooms and greeting guests, to ensure a smooth workflow within the team
  • Attending department meetings, offering creative insights and suggestions
