Excellent written communication skills, including strengths in writing, fact-checking, reading/proofreading
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with diverse personalities
Strong time management with the ability to seamlessly multi-task and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
Proven track record working autonomously and in team settings with a positive, pro-active demeanor
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Screenwriting, Creative Writing, or Media Studies
Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship (with limit of one consecutive year in programs)
At least 18 years of age
Unrestricted work authorization
Consistent, reliable full-time work schedule throughout the internship (June 1st–August 28th, 2026)
Provide own housing in the Burbank, CA area
Reliable transportation to/from work in Burbank, CA
Full-time, in-person availability in Burbank, CA

Responsibilities

Reading and evaluating incoming writing samples, scripts, cuts, and other project materials
Learning to write coverage for both writer and director materials
Participating in project research to support development initiatives
Collaborating with the team in organizing incoming external materials
Assisting with light organizational work to ensure the logging of materials is consistent across the entire live action slate
Facilitating daily operations, such as setting up conference rooms and greeting guests, to ensure a smooth workflow within the team
Attending department meetings, offering creative insights and suggestions
