  • Provisionally licensed individual pursuing Connecticut Licensure as an LPC
  • Must live and be seeking licensure in Connecticut
  • Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
  • Approved by the board as an LPC Associate
  • Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety
  • Graduate or post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor (preferred)
  • Full-time availability (30 hours/week – 25+ client visits with 5 hours administrative time including supervisory meetings)
  • Behavioral health generalists (open to seeing couples/children, with support)
  • Strong character: integrity, openness, and commitment to quality care
  • Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location in New Haven, CT
  • Ability to work in the office for the probationary period, then hybrid model (50% in office, 50% remote)
  • Flexibility in work schedule

Responsibilities

  • Provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions
  • Offer 25+ hours of availability per week for clinical hours (to qualify for ramp stipend)
  • Conduct client visits (25+ per week)
  • Participate in administrative time including supervisory meetings (5 hours/week)
  • Treat clients, including depression, anxiety, couples, and children (with support)
  • Independently conduct intakes and diagnose according to DSM-5 under supervision (based on experience)
