Ability to safely operate a 24’ box truck, Powered Industrial Truck equipment (forklift and pallet jacks), and common woodworking tools (table saw, panel saw, hand tools etc.)
Fork truck license required within 30 days (training provided)
Licensed driver with highly reliable driving record
Ability to complete Hazmat Training in accordance with CFR 49 HM 181, 215A, and 215B
High school or vocational school degree or equivalent
SAP experience preferred
Prior warehouse/shipping-receiving experience preferred
Export compliance eligibility (U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, asylee/refugee, or approved for export license)

Responsibilities

Perform all Logistics functions as needed, including timely, accurate, and safe movement of materials, chemicals, and equipment between plants on company property
Receive materials from outside sources, verify, document, and deliver to internal requesters
Package materials for shipment to customers and suppliers
Using Powered Industrial equipment, load and unload trucks safely and securely, note shortages, and identify damaged goods
Receive materials into SAP system and route to proper in-plant destinations
Operate company truck safely to move materials between buildings and departments
Perform basic computer transactions related to shipping and receiving activities
Communicate with team members to determine material movement needs
Package materials appropriately to ensure safe arrival at destination
Monitor local hazardous satellite storage areas and move materials to central hazardous storage as needed
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain high quality standards
Maintain a safe, clean, professional work area
