  • Experience with Byte Pro or other LOS platforms (e.g., Encompass)
  • Familiarity with a variety of loan types: Conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage applications, credit reports, and financial verifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, purchase-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Closing Team: Supervise a team of mortgage closers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive quality and efficiency
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor individual and team pipelines to ensure files move swiftly through the closing process while meeting compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Quality Control: Review team files to ensure documentation accuracy, fee compliance, and proper coordination with title companies and warehouse banks
  • File Ownership: Manage an individual pipeline of complex purchase loans, ensuring initial closing disclosures are sent timely, closing packages are accurate, the signed closing package meets all requirements, prior to fund conditions are met, and funding authorization is given
  • Compliance Oversight: Review files for adherence to TILA, RESPA, HMDA, Reg B, and other federal/state guidelines. Remediate Compliance Ease alerts and ensure documentation is audit-ready
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with processors, underwriters, loan officers, and settlement agents to identify and resolve closing issues
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and partner with leadership to streamline workflows and elevate the customer experience
  • Post-Closing Support: Assist with post-closing issue resolution to ensure funding and investor delivery go smoothly
