Requirements

High School Diploma required
Strength, endurance, and ability to work in extreme temperature conditions (as low as -5 degrees)
Ability to read alpha and numeric codes from load sheets
One-year recent experience in highly physical, labor-intensive occupation preferred
Must satisfactorily complete all company-mandated training and assessments
Performs all pre-shift duties including safety check of all equipment
Works in multi-temperature areas as assigned
Performs various shift duties including ensuring trailer cleanliness, proper temperature, and readiness for loading
Ensures all pallets are built according to stops and securely wrapped to avoid damage
Verifies header labels on all pallets and checks for damaged or outdated products before loading
Confirms load diagram is completed and submitted

Responsibilities

Load all outbound orders into designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards
Properly secure products in trailers to ensure they are safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency
Meet weekly standards for loading productivity and accuracy while working safely
Build pallets according to stops and securely wrap them
Verify header labels, check for damaged or outdated products, and confirm load diagrams
Perform pre-shift duties including safety checks of equipment
Ensure trailer cleanliness and proper temperature before loading
Work in multi-temperature warehouse environments including coolers and freezers
