Responsibilities

  • Administer Breeze Airways policies in Quality Control and inspection in a line maintenance environment
  • Conduct surveillance and oversight of work performed at line maintenance locations to ensure Breeze standards and CFR compliance
  • Perform aircraft Required Inspections (RII) as described in company manuals
  • Perform Materials Receiving inspections as described in company manuals
  • Perform engine Borescopes as described in engineering orders and OEM data
  • Perform NDT Inspections as described in engineering orders and OEM data
  • Plan and control application of inspection and quality control methods and procedures for safe, reliable, and economic aircraft performance
  • Support the Quality Control Program, including Required Inspection Items and RII Authorized Inspectors per Breeze Airways GMM
  • Support the Receiving Inspection Program per Breeze Airways GMM
  • Monitor workmanship and materials to verify compliance with Breeze and FAA regulations and standards
  • Conduct ongoing program to enhance professionalism and state-of-the-art inspection applications in the department
  • Administer and support the NDT program to verify compliance with Breeze and FAA regulations and standards
  • Oversee establishment and implementation of tool procedures and monitor tooling policies and calibration to ensure conformity, equivalency, and standards
  • Develop recommendations for new tools to increase availability, reliability, or maintenance capability
  • Support procedures for calibration of tools and equipment based on manufacturer recommendations
  • Recommend changes to maintenance program and work specifications based on recurring discrepancies
  • Apprise Manager of Quality Control and Chief Inspector of issues affecting safety, quality, or schedule
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintain high standards in Quality and Safety
  • Maintain compliance with SMS and Company safety policies, procedures, and Federal Regulations by reporting hazards
  • Include SMS in daily work habits and remain current in training requirements
  • Report to the Manager, Quality Control
  • Support overall surveillance of the Aircraft Maintenance System for compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
