Requirements

Candidates should have experience building and operating secure, scalable, highly-available systems. Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Go, C, or C++ is required, along with experience developing and supporting publicly available APIs. A security and adversarially-oriented mindset is essential, as well as knowledge of Bitcoin and applied cryptography, with an understanding of the Lightning Network protocol preferred. Familiarity with contributing to open source projects is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Lightning Infrastructure Engineer will write advanced software tooling for automated channel management and initial client channel selection. They will implement algorithms for ongoing capital management and optimization, design and maintain a suite of monitoring and alert infrastructure for routing nodes, and develop metrics to analyze the health of the network based on graph and node level signals. Additionally, they will design and build novel systems to help nodes and users acquire and manage liquidity on the Lightning Network.
