Requirements
High School/GED Education
Holds an Electrical Journeyman's license and can practice in the state of Massachusetts
Be 18 years of age or older
Able to work a 12 hour shift and wear safety rated equipment
Role model electrical safety in ALL aspects of your work
Self-directed, motivated, and able to collaborate well with others
Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for industrial electrical or controls issues
Knowledge and/or application with any of the following technology areas: PLC’s, HMI’s, process instrumentation, vision systems that ensure product quality, machine control systems, variable frequency drives (PowerFlex, etc.), servo drives, robotics, power distribution (<600V), sensors, control system networking, PLC Siemens TIA portal, Allen Bradley Rockwell Control Logics, and electrical safety
Control cabinet electrical wiring experience, able to use electrical troubleshooting tools for measurements and analysis, and/or able to read electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on manufacturing equipment using electrical schematics
Complete planned electrical installations and maintenance
Assist with electrical and controls upgrades or improvement projects
Collaborate with machine mechanics, other electricians, and engineers to drive business results
