Requirements

  • 4+ years in a Legal Engineering, Legal Operations, or Systems Analyst role, specifically within a high-growth technology company, with a track record of shipping solutions
  • Deep, hands-on configuration experience with modern CLM platforms (specifically Ironclad), including building complex workflow conditions, manipulating metadata fields, and designing template schemas
  • Proven experience connecting systems via APIs, Webhooks, or Middleware (e.g., Workato, Tray.io, Zapier), with understanding of data payloads (JSON) and field mapping between disparate systems
  • Proficiency in data management, structuring data for reporting, and experience with databases or advanced Excel/Google Sheets formulas (Index/Match and Query functions)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain the integrity of the legal technology ecosystem (CLM, ELM, IP Management) and lead technical design of integrations with the enterprise stack (Salesforce, Slack, Coupa) using APIs, middleware, and webhooks
  • Design the "Front Door" intake system and build complex, conditional workflows that transform unstructured requests into structured data, utilizing logic gates for routing approvals and tasks
  • Automate the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle by configuring validation rules for billing, automating accrual data collection, and ensuring sync between CLM and ERP systems
  • Design data schema for actionable metrics (cycle times, risk exposure, spend velocity) and build dynamic, real-time dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, or native tools) for executive leadership
  • Build digital scaffolding for international expansion, including configuring dynamic contract templates and clauses that adapt by jurisdiction and automating "Global Expansion Playbooks" via self-service portals
  • Serve as the technical lead for testing and deploying AI-driven features within the legal stack, specifically for contract analysis and metadata extraction
