  • Ability to greet prospects, qualify them by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize guest cards)
  • Knowledge of company procedures, Fair Housing requirements, and Yardi System for accurate data input
  • Product knowledge of community features and benefits to demonstrate and close sales
  • Skills in processing applications (credit checks, rental history) and following up with applicants
  • Ability to inspect models, market-ready units, and communicate service needs
  • Capability to maintain files, records, and reports accurately according to procedures
  • Proficiency in monitoring renewals, advertising effectiveness, and market competition
  • Experience in resident relations, handling requests, concerns, and maintenance service requests
  • Competence in conducting market surveys and shopping competitive communities
  • No supervisory responsibilities required

Responsibilities

  • Greet prospects, qualify them, record visits on reports, and file guest cards
  • Inspect models and market-ready units, communicate service needs to Property Manager
  • Demonstrate community/apartments, apply product knowledge, close sales
  • Have prospects complete applications, secure deposits, process for approvals, follow up
  • Ensure apartments are ready for move-in, secure new resident signatures, orient residents
  • Follow up on non-closing prospects, refer to sister communities if needed
  • Assist in monitoring renewals, distribute/follow-up on notices
  • Monitor advertising, gather market competition info, conduct market surveys
  • Accept rental payments, type leases, complete paperwork, input into Yardi System
  • Maintain resident files, daily inspections, distribute notices, accurate commission records
  • Receive calls/visits, complete maintenance requests, follow up on repairs, answer resident questions
  • Maintain communication with Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
  • Contribute to community cleanliness and curb appeal
  • Assist in planning/attending resident functions, participate in outreach marketing
  • Advise on referral concessions, assist with signage/banners, distribute newsletters/flyers
  • Assist management with various tasks, implement community policies
