Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with site leadership teams, workstream leads and the global Learning & Development team to define and implement the GBS Costa Rica SSC’s Learning and Development plan that meets short-term priorities whilst focusing on long term business objectives
  • Proactively manage all aspects of learning initiatives (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate, Administrate), including new hire On-boarding, Professional and Process training, leadership, competencies and culture development initiatives
  • Build and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external partners
  • Develop and deliver training related to identified L&D priorities
  • Develop and manage detailed learning and development plans from initial needs analysis through delivery and measurement
  • Measure the effectiveness of training events and learning initiatives, including clear metrics that drive continuous improvement
  • Evolve policy, procedure and strategy that take into account the changing dynamics of the site
  • Own and manage the local L&D budget and vendor contracts
  • Own, manage and deliver Manager Development training
  • Act as the local ambassador for corporate learning and development programs
  • Manage and develop the local L&D Team
  • Build, manage, train and support the local internal trainer network, act as the point of contact for them
  • Ensure audit readiness on the Learning and Development area
  • Lead and manage multiple learning and development projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial scoping and planning to execution and evaluation
  • Evaluate and select external vendors or consultants as needed. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of outsourced learning solutions
  • Stay updated with industry trends and practices to ensure continuous improvement of learning and development programs
  • Stay current with learning technologies and tools. Identify and recommend innovative and cost-effective learning technologies to enhance learning experiences and improve learning outcomes
