Responsibilities

Develop and communicate a strategic vision for frontend architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance frontend capabilities
Provide technical guidance to the team on code quality and best practices
Lead and mentor a team of Frontend Engineers, focusing on career growth, productivity processes, and avoiding micromanagement
Participate in recruitment to identify and onboard top-tier frontend talent
Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and recognize achievements
Establish and enforce coding standards to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
Encourage a culture of innovation, empowering team members to propose and implement creative solutions
Coordinate with Product Managers and UX Designers to review, suggest, and align on design and interaction mockups considering feasibility and complexity
Coordinate with Product Managers to craft quarterly product roadmaps
Collaborate closely with Backend teams for solutioning, API contracts, dependency resolution
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate into development plans, and keep them updated on progress, challenges, blockers, and dependencies
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to foster a collaborative team environment
Plan team capacity at a quarterly level and provide estimations to freeze quarter scope
Practice effective and accurate tracking of work items and their lifecycles on Jira
Implement Scrum practices
