Requirements
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A solid understanding of financial cycles and process mapping skills are essential, along with the ability to perform in a matrixed environment and lead through influence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for interacting with all levels of management. Experience in SOX technology auditing and familiarity with IT systems, applications, and tools supporting SOX-scope business areas are necessary.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the design assessment of in-scope processes through walkthroughs and the documentation of key controls with business partners. Participate in the testing of key controls and reports, reviewing attestation/audit reports to identify SOX relevance. Collaborate with process and control owners to assess deficiencies and support remediation efforts. Proactively identify and monitor process and system changes, participate in SOX readiness audits for new areas, and leverage data visualization techniques to report status to senior management.
