Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years of supply chain, project management, or supply chain support experience recommended
  • Target distribution center operational knowledge with an emphasis on inbound receiving processes
  • Experience designing (processes/tools/strategies implied)
  • Located near a Target Distribution Center and able to commute as needed
  • Proactive, creative, independent, innovative, risk-savvy, and comfortable working in varying degrees of ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Create the next generation of Quality and Control processes, tools, and strategies to deliver consistent inventory integrity across the supply chain
  • Design, collaborate, and implement new processes, capabilities, and tools to support detection, correction, and accountability of inventory problems from item setup through distribution center arrival
  • Engage business partners across Commercial, Supplier Performance Management, Target Product, Data Science, Field Operations, Inventory Management, and more to drive sustainable solutions enabling quality metric improvements
  • Leverage project management skills to set and maintain clear timing and actions for initiatives from concept to implementation
  • Hold self and partners accountable to key deadlines
  • Clearly communicate initiatives and progress to leaders and partners across the organization
  • Maintain flexibility as business priorities change or require additional support
