Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of 7 years of product management experience, specifically within a data-driven environment or open-source platform. Demonstrated experience in leading product strategy and roadmap development is essential, as is a strong understanding of database technologies and data access patterns. Experience working with large-scale data platforms and complex systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

As the Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product lifecycle management of the Wikidata Query Service and related successor services, collaborating with technical stakeholders to identify user needs and translate them into prioritized system requirements. You will also develop and execute product roadmaps, guide Wikidata query services to meet growing data and demand, and modernize the data access infrastructure. Furthermore, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Vice President and Director of Product and affiliate partners on roadmap development, and contribute to the overall vision for the Wikidata Platform.
