Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and ideally have 5+ years of product management experience, specifically within data platforms or knowledge graphs. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with data access technologies and open-source software development is highly desirable.
As the Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product lifecycle management of the Wikidata Query Service, collaborating with stakeholders to identify user needs and translate them into prioritized system requirements. You will also develop and maintain the short- and long-term roadmap for Wikidata Platform, ensuring its stability, reliability, and sustainability, while working closely with Wikimedia Deutschland (WMDE) and their counterparts. Furthermore, you will modernize data access infrastructure, improve self-service capabilities, and guide query services to meet growing data demands and user demand.
