Requirements

Expertise in initial piercings and knowledge of allowable alloys, including gold and titanium jewelry
Strong understanding of piercing safety, hygiene, health standards, and local guidelines
Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor during piercing services
Skilled in needle piercing techniques
Capability to thoroughly explain service procedures, risks, aftercare (tailored to materials and downsizing), signs/symptoms of infection, and medical concerns/complications
Experience in customer service, styling, transactions, and aftercare education
Ability to build and promote a strong local clientele and act as a brand ambassador

Responsibilities

Oversee the piercing customer journey from greeting, check-in, styling, transaction, piercing service, to aftercare education
Embody Mejuri values in all client interactions and promote the brand and piercing studios
Communicate insights and opportunities on piercing products/services to Store Manager and Store Services
Collaborate with Store Manager on improvements to piercing studio flow and processes
Work with store staff to update schedules and online booking services
Oversee and manage all aspects of the piercing studio, coordinating with Store Services team and Store Manager
Support inventory management and provide feedback to ensure optimal quantities and assortment
Maintain health and safety standards, studio cleanliness, and proper handling of sharps and biohazards
