Requirements

Candidates must possess 8+ years of software development experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+, proficiency in building RESTful APIs and containerized services, and strong experience with Azure Cloud services such as App Services, Function Apps, Service Bus, and SQL Database. A solid understanding of microservices architecture and the 12-factor app principles is required, along with familiarity with configuration and secret management tools like Azure Key Vault and App Config. Experience with database schema versioning and migration tools such as Flyway, Liquibase, or EF Migrations is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Engineer, you will lead the technical development of backend services and APIs built on .NET Core, design and implement microservices adhering to the 12-factor app methodology, guide the team in utilizing externalized configuration, secrets management, and container orchestration best practices, and translate product backlog items into technical tasks while leading their execution. You will also support and mentor a team of 5 engineers, collaborate with the Solutions Architect to align on design and architecture, participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and architecture/design sessions, ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and adherence to non-functional requirements, contribute to automation and deployment strategies, and use standard schema management tools for managing and evolving databases.
