Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant with a bachelor's degree
Advanced subject matter knowledge in finance and accounting
Expertise in IFRS, Local GAAP, and US GAAP, including reconciliations
Experience handling large statutory audits, managing remote audits, and closing audits on time with Big4 firms
Ability to draft and review Financial Statements and Notes to Accounts
Proficiency in drafting tax computations, deferred tax accounting, and filing Income/Corporation tax returns
Skills in consolidation, inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and foreign currency accounting
Capability to coach and review work performed by level 1 controllers
Strong analytical skills for in-depth evaluation of complex financial data and trends
Ability to drive forecasting processes and ensure alignment with business objectives

Responsibilities

Driving audit, tax, and compliance for overseas entities
Drafting and reviewing Financial Statements and Notes to Accounts under IFRS/Local GAAP
Handling and finalizing audits for India and other regional entities with Big4 firms
Coaching and reviewing work performed by level 1 controllers
Performing GAAP reconciliations between US GAAP and IFRS/Local GAAP
Drafting tax computations and deferred tax accounting
Filing Income/Corporation tax returns
Managing consolidation, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting
Ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance with internal policies
Reviewing balance sheet accounts reconciliations
Gathering financial data and performing financial analyses and reporting (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Driving the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, long-term) by analyzing trends
Communicating and ensuring adherence to GAAP and organizational financial goals/policies
Representing financial results correctly internally and externally
Ensuring strong business controls
