Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Statistics or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience, which may include doctoral research in biostatistics. Expertise in drug development and a proven track record of advanced biostatistical knowledge and its application to clinical trials are essential. Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS and/or R is required, along with the ability to clearly explain complex statistical concepts in both written and spoken English. The ideal candidate is a team player capable of working autonomously within a cross-disciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-growing biotech company with challenging timelines.
The Lead Biostatistician will contribute statistical expertise to the design and analysis of clinical trials or compound/program development plans. This role involves close collaboration with program partners and stakeholders to deliver statistical outputs for clinical trials and contribute to Health Authority submissions. The position reports to a franchise team leader within the Biostatistics and Statistical Modelling organization and entails carrying out functional responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
